Is Your Business Eligible for a Google Ads Refund?
The majority of U.S. companies that placed ads on Google from 2016 onward are likely eligible. Check the criteria below.
Simple Eligibility Criteria
If your company satisfies these conditions, you are probably eligible to file a recovery claim.
Advertised on Google
Your company directly paid for search text or display advertisements through Google Ads (previously Google Display Network) within the qualifying timeframe.
Spent Any Amount Since August 2016
Ad spending on or after August 1, 2016 is covered. Every budget size is eligible, and there is no minimum threshold.
US Business
Your company is based in or primarily operates within the U.S. This covers sole proprietorships, LLCs, corporations, and nonprofit organizations.
Accepted Google's Terms
You did not opt out of the Google Ads payment terms when setting up your ad account or at any point. Nearly all advertisers on the platform agreed to these terms as part of the signup process.
Industries That May Be Affected
Businesses across every sector that ran Google Ads could be affected. If your company spent on Google advertising since 2016, your industry likely qualifies.
This list is not exhaustive. Any business that purchased Google Ads may be eligible regardless of industry.
